Another excellent day for fishing is upon us and I hope you’ve had a chance to get out there and see what we’re talking about! Fishing reports from the past few days still hold true with few exceptions so today’s updates will be brief. For more detailed information please refer to our fishing reports from 7/16 and 7/17. Get out there and enjoy the beautiful weather and catch some fish!
For the Snake River our guides found best success using Peach Chubby Chernobyl’s or Circus Peanuts with a bead head CDC Pheasant Tail dropper #14. If thats not working for you then size down to a Parachute Adams or Moose tail Parachute in sizes 12-16.
South Fork of the Snake River
Fishing reports from the South Fork of The Snake haven’t changed since yesterday. For more details, refer to reports from 7/16 and 7/17.
Green river fishing was a bit slower yesterday but plenty of trout were still brought to the net. Moose tail Parachutes, Drakes, and Hoppers paired with a dropper pheasant tail nymph were most productive, but a few trout were caught on streamers.
We’d love to hear reports from you as well! Please come by our shop anytime and talk fishing with us. We hope you all have a fishy day and have some fun in the sun!
