Snake River – South Fork

The South Fork is shaping up nicely. Flows are down to 8,600 CFS and are creating some nice banks and riffles. It’s been an interesting start, but the bugs are showing themselves in the canyon and on the lower river. Hopper fishing along the banks is turning fish. Be looking for Stoneflies, Caddis, PMD’s and all types of terrestrials. The valley stretch is coming to life as well. This year more than ever, a guide is worth his weight in gold.
