My passion for fishing began on the rivers of New Zealand at the age of 7 where my father took me up and down rivers at the top of the South Island. In 1995 I decided to share my knowledge and passion with others and began guiding the same rivers that I learned on. Between NZ summers, I also spent five seasons Atlantic salmon guiding on the Ponoi River in Russia. I first came to Jackson in the summer of 2000 and couldn’t keep away. I now spend my year as a full time fishing guide between guiding and running my lodge in New Zealand and guiding for Westbank Anglers. 2012 will be my 8th season guiding for Westbank. I love guiding Flat Creek and working side channels on the Snake. Here I love using my NZ skills to sight fish before casting a fly. In 2000 I was happy to be the recipient of the Jackson Hole One Fly Top Pro, and in 2011, the One Fly Overall Top Wyoming Guide. I would love to take you for a stroll up a river to show you some new tricks, or just kick back in my comfy boat and enjoy the ride!
